Off season update

I'd like everyone to stand pat on player transactions for now. Our next steps will be the Free Agent Signing/Resigning Period and then the Rookie Draft. We will be conducting both on XFN.

There is a poll on the forum right now for all owners to vote for their preferred time to do the draft. Please do so asap. I'd like as many people to attend as possible.

There is also going to be a draft on the forum. I would like all owners to fill in the name of the rookie that they want in order of draft. You can view all the rookies right now on your PS3. The reason we're doing it this way is so that when we do conduct the real draft we will be able to fly through it quickly.

Here is the checklist provided by XFN of what needs to be done in order for the draft to run smoothly

1. Set draft order (My responsibility)
2. The draft consists of 7 rounds. Therefore you must instruct your league members to make space on their rosters for the 7 players that will be put on their team. Not doing so may cause the game to auto-drop a player they may want to keep. I think it's 48 players maximum, please let me know if it is otherwise (Owners responsibility)
3. Start the Draft in Madden on PS3. No need to pick any players. Just start it and let it finish. (My responsibility)
4. Advance to week 1 in the game (My responsibility)
5. Sync Rosters (My responsibility)
6. On XFN "Advance to offseason" (My responsibility)
7. DO NOT ALLOW ANY GAMES TO BE PLAYED (Owners responsibility) Anybody screw this up will be booted.
8. Now it's time to re-sign players you would like to keep who have expiring contracts. Go to Front Office > Sign/Release. The expiring players will be outlined in red. In order for them to not hit the Free Agent market you will have to sign them. (Owners responsibility)
9. On XFN "Advance to Draft" (My responsibility)
10. We conduct the draft (Everyone's responsibility)


- I'm at the stage of setting the draft order right now. I have to go through all the trades and the traded draft picks forum to see who has what. I'll get it done tonight for sure.
- In the mean time all owners should drop their rosters to 48 max players. There seems to be some discrepancy whether this needs to be done or not. All I say is, it's up to you. Your risk, but don't come back to me hoping for me to do something for you.
- WARNING: Once I advance to week one in Madden on the PS3, nobody is allowed to play their game. Doing so will screw us royally. You will be removed from the league
- All owners will now have a period of 24 hrs to re-sign the players whose contracts are expiring. Once the 24 hrs has passed anyone who you didn't re-sign will hit the free agent market.
- We're hoping to get as many rounds of the mock up draft done on the forum as we can. This way we can fly through the real one, whenever that may be (being voted on in the forum). Remember, what's going on in the forum is just a mock up. It's not the real thing. Owners still need to try their best to show up for the real draft which is being voted on right now in the forum. Whatever time and day is decided on if any of us can't make it let us know asap and we can try to work something out. Someone else log in as you and pick who you want or something.



I would love to start the second season by Sunday. So let's make it happen guys.

I'd like to thank the owners, who have all stepped up and done their part in making the USSML a great league for everyone. Duke, my right hand man, members on the trade committee, the media guys, the game scheduling mods, everyone who played their games on time GDI. Adis, who is conducting the mock draft as I type this. Sorry if I've forgotten anyone. Good lookin' out guys. Lets keep this shit rolling.
