The Redskins were efficient and took the cowboys out of the game early, so this scouting may not be 100% accurate.
Offense: Play calling was above average, they mixed it up frequently with a edge to passing the ball. Watch out for Mason, still unsure which package he lines up in (not 2 WR sets) I think he lines up in the slot. He was an early favorite target for Jackson. Jackson when pressured used his legs for a few key 3rd down conversion. Surprisingly, he seemed very comfortable picking apart our zone defenses in the first half. Although they were up by three touchdowns at one point I thought our man coverage did a slightly better job against the pass. Cowboys were getting burned ALOT by the pass and thats when he slipped Portis into the fold mostly coming off the edges. Overall performance B+
Defense: The defense didn't get alot of pressure on the QB but the secondary seemed up to the task. The redskins appear to play alot of pass defense and you can take advantage of them on the ground. They seemed to be very vulnerable in the middle of the line, defense tackles well. Will be properly scouted after a closer contested game.. Overall performance B-
