No surprise coming from New England Patriots that they have chosen to stick with Coach Ares for years to come. Coach said "I am ecstatic right now for the new season to come, i got a lot of talent to work with and i plan on making the Patriots the team to beat in the AFC East." Coach started of the preseason by trading away Rob Gronkowski the sensational year 1 Tight End out of Arizona to the San Diego Chargers, and also traded away rookie Quarterback Ryan Mallet to the Cincinnati Bengals. When asked what made him trade the players away he said "Rob and Ryan are gonna be great Pro's in the NFL, but i decided to go in a different direction. I wish them the best, except for Rob week 2, hahaha."

When asked about what he expects to accomplish this season he said "What kind of question is that? i EXPECT my guys to play well and make plays and get wins, just like any other coach in the nfl EXPECTS the same thing. Listen here folks because i wont say this again, here in New England, we take things 1 week at a time, we dont make wild predictions about making the superbowl this year like those guys down there at MetLife Stadium. I am looking forward to playing the Dolphins and the new Management they got down there now, just like the rest of my guys are. See you Week 1 Coach."

Week 1 Update:

Media: Coach Ares, starting off the season with a Win is big, let alone beating a division rival with relatively ease, how do you build on this?

Coach: First of all, that game wasn't won with relative ease. That 1st quarter our water boys started slacking on there duty's and our guys got thirsty. So there ya go. Anyway, it was a good game, We played good defense, passed it well. How do i build on that? Keep winning of course!

Media: Do you think you have any improvements that need to be done for your team?

Coach: Of course, no team is ever perfect. As you saw that game, we were passing it really well, but we simply could not run it that great. And i hope that doesn't keep happening. Sure the heart of this Offense is Pass first, but i like to have some balance, and that game vs. Miami was not balanced. Still a win is a win, and ill take it!

Media: You face your old division rival next week, Coach Bob, previous Dolphins coach. How do you think its gonna go?

Coach: Its gonna be a battle, he had a great group of guys in Miami, and in my point of view, he has an even better group in San Diego. So yeah, expect a big game.

Media: Coach, the Dolphins coach was talking some trash before the game. What do you have to say?

Coach: All bark and no bite. Listen, i talk trash too, but i can back it up. You dont go talking trash and then go 24-7 against the team you talked trash.

Media: Some Dolphins player had this to say this past week: "All we hear is the AFC East goes through New England, we don't buy that over here. Tell Ocho whatever he's called now to come through the middle" what do you have to say about that?

Coach: I dont need to say anything, Chad's stat's of the game should speak to that statement. Pretty sure Tom threw it to him a couple times down the middle also....Like i said, all bark and no bite.

Coach: Thanks guys, that will be all, See you next week!

He looked promising on that one play to Hartline, typical Marshall dropped a potential YAC TD....and that Wilfork stop on Henne on 4th/inches was massive...that could've been a momentum swing

Mid Week Patriots Update:

Coach Ares has made a couple of trades this week. He has decided to trade away Rookie Rasi-Dowling to the Houston Texans in return for a 1st round pick. Rasi-Dowling originally being a 2nd round draft pick.

Coach Ares had this to say: "I like Dowling, i really do, but with the guys we already have here, i feel like i can get it done without him, moving onward, i hope the best for the kid, except when he plays us!"

Another big move coming out of New England was the Danny Woodhead trade to Tampa Bay, in which Tampa sends there 2nd round draft pick to New England. Danny Woodhead, had a good season last year for the patriots. He was in alot of trick plays for the patriots and made big plays when they needed it the most. Saying that, New England Patriots already have Benjarvous Green-Ellis A.K.A. The LawFirm, taking the heavy loads of the carrys for the team.

Coach Ares said this about the trade: "Danny Woodhead is an excellent player, and i wish him the best in his career. This choice was a hard one for me, but me and my staff thought it through and we wanted to move ahead with the 2 rookies Steven Ridley and Shane Vareen. We Also got LawFirm here and hes gonna be carrying most of the load."

There are talks about the Patriots sending another big name player possibly out of town. We will keep you updated on that situation. So far it looks like Coach Ares is looking towards the future with already 3 1st Round draft picks and 3 2nd round draft picks. Although hes traded away some big time names already.

Coach Ares had this to say:
"Some of the other coach's are questioning my trade's but the New England Patriots are still top contenders in the AFC and are always looking towards the superbowl. This is not a Transition year for us. Look for us to lead our division like we have the past couple years."

This upcoming week the patriots face a Chargers team with two great TE's. One of which was traded to them by the Patriots, Rob Gronkowski.

Coach had this to say about this upcoming game: "Good team, gonna be a battle. Going to be a challenge to try to slow down that offense that Rivers run. They got weapons on every side of the field. so we will see how it will go."

Thanks for reading, look for more updates each week!

Week 2 Update:

Quarterback Tom Brady had a QB Rating of 96.2 despite the fact of throwing 2 INTs. He only completely about half of his passes and was 17 of 30. He threw for 298 Yards with 3 TD's

Tom Brady's top Target of the day was his Go-To-Guy, Wes Welker, with 6 Catches for 93 yards and 0 TD's. While Aaron Hernendez, came up with 5 catches for 80 yards and 1 TD. Tom Brady target Chad Ochocinco 3 times for 63 yards and 1 TD and Deion Branch came down with 1 catch which was a TD for 15 yards. Eric Kettani and Shawn Nelson saw 1 catch each also.

Patriots didn't run it much with only 10 carry's for Benjarvus Green-Ellis for 44 yards. Though when he did carry the ball he was able to give them a good amount of yards.

Defensive wise, Chris Crocker, a newly acquired addition to the team, starting at Safety, earned the player of the game award by getting a Pick-Six 75 yards. He demoralized the chargers leading to there defeat. Jermaine Cunningham came up with a sack. and the Defense played exceptionally well only allowing the Chargers scoring once, and also stoping Ryan Matthews from being productive in the Running game, keeping him at 13 carry's with 53 yards.

Words from the coach: Great game for us, beat a good team with a lot of talent. Defense was able to keep the chargers offense from getting anything going in the 2nd half. Was able to convert a lot of 3rd downs which helps alot. Now focusing on Buffalo next week.

Media: Coach, any words to the opposing coach?

Coach: Good game.

Media: Tom Brady threw 2 INTs this game, what do you have to say about that?

Coach: I talked to Tom, he blames himself for each of those Ints. That 2nd INT coming right before the half was really forced in there because of me on the play calling. You never like throwing picks, but you just gotta keep moving forward because you got the rest of the game to play. Tom is Tom, hes a champion, im not worried about it.

Media: You traded Rob Gronkowski to the chargers, see anything in the game from him?

Coach: You know, i was kind of scratching my head the entire game. We came in ready to stop the Two Incredibly talented TE's that the Chargers have, but we didnt see Rob at all till after Gates got hurt, and even then Rob wasn't targeted. Even when Gates was out there he only caught one pass i believe. I dont know what Coach Bob-Selah is doing, if hes keeping his TE plays in secret or if he just wasn't comfortable using the TE's during this game, but yeah, considering the fact that they gave us a 1st round, you would think they would use Rob more.

Coach: Thats it for today guys, thanks for coming out, next week comes the bills.

Week 3 Update:

Quarterback Tom Brady didn't have a spectacular game but he was 12 for 22 177 yards with 2 TD's. He had a QB Rating of 111.3. Big day for RB Benjarvus Green-Ellis, with having 2 recieving TD's with 3 Catches for 75 yards, and on the ground he had 19 touches for 62 yards. Surprisingly not much action in the passing game today for the Patriots. Thats because the Defense had an INCREDIBLE day.

This game was a defensive game. At half time it was 7-3. The defensive came away with 4 INT's one of which came back for a TD. Big Day for Brandon Spikes, coming away with 2 INT's, 1 Forced Fumble, and a TD. He also had 5 Tackles and 4 Assist's. Also with INT's was Jerod Mayo and Chris Crocker. Brandon Spikes came out of the game at the end getting injured. Reports are that he had an abdominal strain and will be out for 2 weeks. Huge loss for the patriots with only having 1 other MLB on there roster, Dane Fletcher, and especially because of how Well Brandon performed today.

Coach: Great Win for us of course, beating a division rival and a great team like the bills. I am blessed to have such a great group of guys.

Media: Coach, what changes did you make at half time to go from 7-3 at half to 34-3 at the end?

Coach: Honestly i didnt really change much, my defense just made played after play, we came away with 4 turnovers in a row in the 3rd quarter, so i believe the momentum of the game just shifted on our side.

Media: Offensive wise, why did you guys struggle so much?

Coach: The bills have a great defense. It was hard for us to move the ball in the air with there great secondary, also our guys couldn't come down with the ball when brady put it in there hands, so that doesn't help. We had some good play's in there to score 2 TD's on offense. but our defensive definitely carried us this game.

Media: Great weather our there today right coach?

Coach: Yes! Lovely weather, nice and sunny and Windy a** f***. those 2 FG's hurt, but at the end of the game our defensive came through and got us the win.

Media: Last question coach, how does it feel to be 3-0 in total and 2-0 in division.

Coach: Its great to beat your division rivals of course so you can take the division. I am glad we are winning and i plan on keeping our board up with a bunch of "W"'s but theres alot of great teams out there so it will be a challenge. Thanks Guys.

Week 4 Update:

Coach Ares missed the bus apparently and wasn't able to coach his own team, so patriots suffer their first loss.

Coach: Bit upset that happened, but the show must go on, and preparing for the next team.

Week 6 Update:

Quarterback Tom Brady coming back from a Week 5 terrible game, didn't do as good as he wanted to, he said this: "Yeah Week 5 i had the worst game of my life, its not that easy to come back from such a huge loss like that, this game was a nail bitter and i could have done better but hey a win is a win." He completed 15 of his 29 passes and threw for 227 yards and 1 TD and 2 INT's. In the Running game, Rookie Steven Ridley got the call today as the starter over veteran Green-Ellis, he carried the rock 15 times for 83 yards. Coach Ares had this to say about the rookie "Very promising, Ridley has the potential to be a star in this league, thats for sure." The rookie didn't get any TD's but thats not because coach doesn't trust the rookie with the ball. Ridley was even in the passing plays a few times also, getting the 2nd most yards in the air under Aaron Hernendez the TE. The TE had 3 catches, the most out of anyone else on the team for 46 yards. Tom Brady spread the ball around alot today. Welker and Ochocinco with only 2 catches each for 10 yards and 35 yards respectively. Welker with the only TD.

Defensively it was a great day for Jermaine Cunningham with 3 QB Sacks and 6 total tackles. Patrick Chung and Brandon Spikes also came up big with 1 INT each and Devin McCourty with a Fumble recovery and Rob Ninkovich with the FF.

Coach: Coach Jalen has a great team over there, thats for sure. Nail biting finish, our defense played great, our offense still has alot more work to do, but a win is a win, like Tom said.

Media: Coach, these past 2 games your offense has seemed to struggle, and Tom Brady has been throwing an unusual amount of INT's, why do you think that is?

Coach: Why does it snow in the winter? There is no definitive answer to that question, everyone has bad games. There is no such thing as a perfect season. No one is perfect. Thats to say, yes Tom has thrown around 8 or so picks in the last 2 games, against who? the Jets and the Cowboys. Both teams having great defense's. You put to much emphasis on Tom "struggling" and not enough on the Defense being a good defense.

Coach: Anyway, thats enough for today, got myself a Bye Week and i plan on giving myself a good day or two of some fishing!

Week 7 Update:

Quarterback Tom Brady was Hot today for the most part, getting a passing rating off 118.3 and completing 14 of his 21 passes. He threw for 246 yards while completing 66% of his passes, he had 2 TD's and 1 INT. The very first play of the game went to Rookie Steven Ridley in a Screen pass for an 80 yard TD. Also marking Brady's longest pass of the day. Other then that one caught TD, rookie Ridley didn't have a great day in the run game, while getting the call to start over Green Ellis for the 3rd time this season, he only ran it 5 times for 19 yards, coach Ares pulled him out after fumbling the ball 2 times. Green Ellis came in after Ridley went out and got 19 touches for 61 yards, while not getting a lot of yards, he definitely runs hard and gets those hard yardage's. No TD's for Green Ellis. In the recieving game, Aaron Hernendez caught most of the passes, while getting 5 catches for 49 yards and no TD's. QB Tom Brady likes to spread the defense a lot by throwing it to various targets during the game. Wes Welker caught 3 passes for 50 yards and getting 1 TD. C. Ocho, S. Nelson, and S. Ridley getting 2 catches each for a combined total of 147 yards, with half those yards coming from the screen pass of S.Ridley's 80 yard catch and run.

Defensively wise, Patriots had another great day while holding Rashard Mendenhall for 39 yards with 10 attempts and no TD's. Brandon Spikes lead the team with 4 total tackles. There were 3 INT's made by the defense, 2 key INT one of which that came from veteran Leigh Bodden, which turned the whole game around towards the Patriots, in a tough game that was tied 14-14. Dane Fletcher getting another key INT, when the Steelers were at there own 1 yard line, Fletcher caught the INT and returned it for a TD, that gave the patriots the lead. And Devin McCourty getting another INT towards the end of the game.

Coach: Tough matchup today, that first half right there should prove how hard both teams fought, us coming out and scoring twice in the 1st quarter and then the steelers coming out and scoring 2 of there own in the 2nd quarter. They have a great team over there and we will probably be seeing them in the playoffs.

Media: Your team is ranked 3rd in total defense, 1st in running defense, before this week atleast. What do you got to say to your guys on defense?

Coach: You know, i tell my group of guys each day at practice, after games, keep doing your job. Just like previous legendary coach Bill Belicheck told his team, i tell mine the same thing. Keep doing your job. And they go out there and do that each game, we can always be better though.

Media: Coming out and scoring a TD on the first play most have been huge motivation for the team, what did you tell your guys after that TD?

Coach: I let them know, good job, but dont think its even remotely close to being over yet. IT was only the first play of the game, sure it gave us motivation, but we dont let that give us big heads and think we are gods or something.

Media: Looking towards next week, you face an unbeaten New York Giants team, who beat your team in the 07 superbowl. How do you think you'll do against them in this meet, and is there still some heartbreak for you guys after losing to them in the 07 superbowl?

Coach: To answer your second part, ofcourse theres gonna be some heartbreak, but we arent gonna let that game effect us, its gonna stick with us sure, but it wont have any effect on how we perform on the field. Definitely will be a battle, those guys over there got a great team, and we expect it to be a huge game.

Coach: Thats it for today guys, see you next week vs. the Giants.

Week 9 update:

Quarterback Tom Brady had another average game, 56% of his passes, throwing for 264 yards with 2 TDs and 2 INTs. Green Ellis got the ball 5 times, not much of a ran game for the patriots, Aaron Hernendez caught the majority of the balls, getting 6 receptions for 60 yards. Ochocinco got 4 catches for 98 yards and 1 TD.

Defensive wise, they did a good job getting some turnovers, forcing 2 fumbles, no INTs though. Defense had 2 sacks, Jerod Mayo left the game injured, a key component to the Patriots defense. Giants ran for a combined total of 152 yards, efforts made by Ahmad Bradshaw and Mikel Leshoure. Both ran for under 100 yards though.

Patriots suffer a tough loss to an unbeaten team, leaving the game at 20-17, Patriots made a tough effort to get a win, but coming up short, Giants pulled ahead early and the Patriots were unable to comeback.

Coach: Tough loss to a good team, but you gotta move ahead and start getting prepared for the Jets next week.

Media: Coach, this was the first time this year any team has rushed for more then 100+ yards on you. What happened?

Coach: Well, they have a powerful 2 run team there, with Leshoure and Bradshaw, niether of which got more then 100+ yards on us, but still yes, in total they got more. I wouldn't say anything went wrong with our defense. Our defense played great, just the other team had the ball more often then we did, and there guys made plays, you got to give them credit were credit is deserved, Coach Duke over there had some great plays out there.

Media: Do you feel that your offensive needs to step up a bit?

Coach: I always feel like our entire team needs to step up, you dont step up, you dont win. Simple as that.

Coach: thats it for this week, see you guys at NY.

Week 10 Update:

QB Tom Brady threw 21 times for 125 yards and 1 TD. he completed 66% of his passes. No Ints. QB rating of 98. Green Ellis got 12 carries and 63 yards. Wes Welker got 5 catches for 57 yards no TD's. Not much of a high scoring game at all, while the score ended up being 13-14, Patriots lost by only 1 point.

Defensive wise, patriots have to be happy with what they did, while only allowing really only 1 big play, which was a run by shonn greene, other then that, defense did pretty good, stopping the jets several times, but not really converting those stops to any points. Defense got 2 INTs and 1 Sack.

Coach: Good game of course, came down to us not having enough good plays on offense, but it was close game the entire game, so yeah, we lost, it stinks, but we only lost by 1 point, compared to our last game vs the jets, i call that a win in my book.

Media: Coach, i heard your really tired because of that 18 hour shift you pulled yesterday on black friday, is that true?

Coach: Yes i am very tired, and 18 hours yesterday, and today i got called in on my day off, so that sucks. Anyway, thats it for today, i must rest.

lol... ^^ gg Revis

Regular Season Wrap Up:

While the New England Patriots struggled in the Middle of the season, they did end up leading the AFC East yet again and are headed to the playoffs. New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady and the Offense, have been on Fire in the last few games they have played, they hope to bring that Fire to the playoffs. New England's Patriots Defense which is ranked 2nd Overall in the league is the hotter news though, they have allowed there offense time and time again to finish the game out.

While the New England Patriots started out strong, winning there first 3 games and then losing some and winning some, they are very optimistic looking towards the playoffs. They have the 2nd best defense statistically overall, and teams planning on coming into the game and running against this D, better think again, because the New England Defense allow an average of 70 yards per game this year, which is the #1 ranked defense when it comes against the run. When it comes to the air, they are ranked #7 overall, and you better be careful with the defensive backs, because they are all ball hugs. It does also help that the New England Patriots have the Prolific Tom Brady on there side, with the #6 Passing attack in the league, you better be careful with every and any eligible reciever on the field, because Tom Brady makes everyone a play maker. They are Ranked #2 in terms of scoring TD's with no surprise there when having Tom Brady on the field. The NE Patriots rushing attack isn't anything to be afraid off, though, while having the 29th ranked Rushing attack in the league, they do run it good when they call run plays and usually get a good amount of yards. Its hard running what they Patriots do, able to get those hard 2-4 yards in a carry.

Coach Ares decided to sit out most of his starters and rest them for the playoffs for the week 17 game, and we must say, the NE Patriots 2nd team players looked pretty darn good out there, QB Trent Edwards, which was acquired from FA just a week ago, looks to have picked up pretty nicely, some people in the crowd even said "Who is that? Is that Brady with another number on?" He looked really good. And the 2nd Team Defense, while giving up alot of huge plays in the pass, still did really great against the run like always.

Coach: We had some trouble there in the middle of the stretch, it was my fault we tryed to do something that we aren't just yet ready to do, but we were able to come back from that lose streak and pull out some wins in the end, and sure it wasn't pretty but nothing is ever perfect.

Coach: I am not taking any questions for right now, next press conference will be AFTER our 1st playoff game. For right now i gotta focus on the playoffs.

There you have it folks, that wraps up our end of the season update.

WildCard Week:

The New England Patriots won there last 5 games, finally starting to feel hot on both offense and defense, the coach's and players were all feeling good, but new that there past couple of playoffs have ended with a loss each time in there first game of the playoffs. Not this time however, Patriots fought hard against the Texans and came out on top by a TD, final score was 24-17 Patriots.

On Offense, led by QB Tom Brady, there passing attack was like no other, throwing 38 times and completing 22 of them, T.Brady had a QB rating of 95, he threw for 364 yards, 3 TD's but he also did throw 2 INT's, on of which was a Pick-Six. T.Brady made it up however by making a huge play that ended in a TD after the Pick-Six. The Patriots offense had alot of big plays. Hernendez, Ochocinco, and Branch where the ones who got the TD's. Hernendez, Welker and Ochocinco were T.Brady's top targets, catching a combined total of 14 Passes for 195 yards. Green Ellis carried the ball 15 times for 41 yards, around the same amount that he usually get's, he doesn't have break-out runs but he does run hard and gets those tough-to-get yards.

Defensively the patriots made some plays and allowed the Offense to score. Defense ended with 1 sack, 2 INT's, and 1 FF. Patrick Chung coming up huge today by getting both a INT that was made in the ENDZONE and a FF. Devin McCourty had the other INT.

Coach: Just wanna say, i am very proud of my guys and my coaching staff, and now we must prepare for our next opponent. I will take some questions

Media: Texans offense only scored once on you guys, but yet kept the game pretty close, is that a problem?

Coach: Huge problem, the texans QB only had 8 completions, but most of those 8 passes were pretty huge gains. We tend to beat ourselfs sometimes with the Pick-Six that Brady threw but hey, we won and that game is over and we have to move on now.

Media: How are you feeling about your team going forward in the playoffs?

Coach: Pretty great, nothing is ever perfect and we still need to practice some stuff, but in general i love my team and all the guys. Theres alot of work to be done on both offense and defense, but all we gotta do is win, and how we do it, doesn't matter, as long as we win.

Coach: Thats it for today folks

After a loss in the playoffs, the patriots took aim at the draft by selecting 2 Offensive Weapons in HB N.Dyer and TE J.Brooks. Well Drafting a LB with there final pick in the 1st Round. Patriots look to take the AFC East again and hoping for a superbowl run.

Week 1 comes against rivals New York Jets, looking to start the season off strong, Patriots start there season with high hopes for another shot at the superbowl.
