Hey guys, heres my scouting report on the colts.
The Colts have strength's and weakness's. Lets start with strengths.
Passes well; Doesn't throw lobs or guide the player way too far.
Has a good Defense, he controls a Linebacker or Safety and finds any open player which makes it very hard to find any openings.
Changes up the plays A LOT: I didn't see a play repeated more then twice through the game. He also Blitzes very rarely,
and disguises it well.
Now, weakness's.
Doesn't get many user picks, or too be more specific, doesn't force interceptions.
Doesn't run well against a 1-5-5 Prowl defense (Steeler's Playbook, what I use) or a Standard 3-4 or 5-2 defense.
Throws many interceptions, in my case, he threw 4.
Now, for his predictability
He usually throws it deep I can't count how many 1st or 2nd downs he threw it deep left. On 3rd down he likes to pass it to his TE, in a curl down the middle. If not curl, a short post. Like I said, he blitzes rarely and can't stop the run very well. I think I ran 170ish yards against him. It took him a while to block my screens, with got me great yardage.
Now, for my ending tip.
Run the no-huddle. I did it against him, and it tricked him up a bunch. I also found that plays like outside runs, where a guy goes in motion, is good to run the no huddle right after, change the play to a run down the middle, and then put that same guy in motion. It confused him, In My opinion.
And finally,
DON'T GET COCKY! I got cocky and thought I won, and stupidly threw an endzone pick
.
Hope this helped! Rock On \m/
