NEW LEAGUE

Just checking if there is enough interest to start a new league. I know there are alot of active ballers that are looking for a league starting fresh. My idea would be to sim the first season and start at the draft after year 1. Think EVO, but first year simmed and forums and xfn would be on a seperate page. Im thinking a league moving quick, probably not a ton of forum activity, but games getting played quickly. Probably would be run primarily through AOL AIM, it is easy to connect your phone, so its as easy as texting or using AIM on your cpu. If you are interested post here. I am in 1 other league and can probably get some owners from there. I know alot of the owners here in USSML are in other leagues, so we definitely would need you guys to find some quality owners from your other leagues. Interested owners need to help recruit. I would think every league has a few sim owners that would want a good league starting fresh right now.

I think if you did a hard advance rate i'd do it, not sure how much i like the idea of starting at the draft only cuz itd be so random who picks where, but its ur lg, i figure if we did a hard advance no excuses i think we could breeze through seasons.

Isacc I think it gives advantage to taking a struggling team. You know if you take Browns or Bills, you probably gonna get a nice draft pick (which is immediate trade bait). While if you want a better roster like Steelers or Packers, you gonna pick late or have to trade some talent to move up.

I may be interested, might depend on how hard the advance is, I'll check in later.

I like the idea of starting at the draft. I've even seen another league do 2, do 1st season draft, sim 2nd season, do the next draft and then start playing. Gives someone a chance to really shape their team fast, considering the shelf life of the game itself that's left, and gives incentive to take weaker teams.

Make sure you read the rule sbecause if you cant abide by them, especially in regards to scheduling, then that lg is not for you.

This is an announcement for all new lg members:

XFN screwed us by not replying to any our msgs, so essentially oko and myself had to come together to see what exactly was the issue. It was determined XFN did not grant our request for the site in time and the psn was already advance meaning we did not posess the ability to sync xfn so therefore we are froced to restart the lg on xfn and psn as well. everyone will keep the same team however draft position is likely to change. we will have everything up by the end of the week and if we can pull in a few more owners are looking at a weekened start, i will soon post a poll asking for a voted draft time once im comfortable with assuming we can kick things off saturday or sunday. Bare with us and i promise you will not be dissapointed.

Take your time. I would rather it be set up right and flow smoothly as opposed to rushed and then we have issues all season
