| They have the same age, salary, position and impact essentially, a pick is not needed unless a 2nd or 3rd is being sent by the Falcons...Denied the way it is. Other. Voters may disagree so wait and see | |

I appreciate your 2 cents, Now check this out,I'm going to use the player board from our current/recent draft to breakdown the value of a 2nd pick and this trade In the 2nd round, 27 of the 32 picks were players who were B value and better. 7 of those 27 players were A potential players I don't think its a fair deal or wise for an owner to send that value of a pick along with a player for a player who's the same age, makes the same money, plays the same position, same potential and despite being 5 points less, the same impact. If Dews sends a 3rd I'd approve but if he wants to send a 2nd then I feel he should get at least a 3rd rounder in return. This is just the way I see it

| every deal doesn't have to be perfectly equal. isn't the point of this to make sure nobody is getting hosed? there's going to be some imbalances in trades but we should let them slide especially for a league going into its 3rd or 4th season.
you also have to consider the market value of a player not just the raw attributes and salary. speedy wr's are so hard to come by and Knox is great to blow the top off any coverage.
both the receivers are about equal but kc wanted the faster one so they went out and payed a premium to acquire him. there's nothing wrong with that. it happens.

Again, i'm not expecting perfection but I feel Kansas City his giving up too much (getting hosed, whatever you wanna call it) for reasons i explained above. It seems like i'm actually judging the pieces involved in the deal, while your judging the teams. A bad deal is a bad deal, period! KC was a playoff team(also Atlanta) so Dews may have the luxury to throw a way a 2nd but let's say it was the Jets or Minnesota or some team like that, who finished with poor record,do you think they'll just be throwing away a 2nd like this for an equal player as the player they're giving up with the pick? This is why there's a committee too, everyone sees things different.......Also,you could always request to be on it to make your opinion matter...

| Alright guys lets not take shots at each other...we have a committee, if the majority votes against it ill figure something out, if not Knox will be another piece added to topple Mirac and make it back to the big game. You're both right, I am sure if I was another team who has not won the West 3 straight years perhaps I would value a second rounder a little more. Also every trade has a winner and loser, may not always be so cut and dry, but it is what it is. We shall see what the trade gets voted, but I like the enthusiasm, if only E still had this, lol. Goodnight all. | |

| This is the reason why I need I remind people that only the owners involved and the members of the trade committee are allowed to post in these completed trades forum. If you are not one of those please stay out of it and allow the committee members to do their job. | |
